The FLIR Si124-PD acoustic imaging camera is capable of detecting partial discharge from high-voltage electrical systems up to ten times faster than traditional methods. This lightweight and one-handed solution is built with 124 microphones, generating a precise acoustic image that can visually display ultrasonic information, even in noisy industrial environments. The camera overlays the acoustic image in real-time onto a digital camera picture, allowing for pinpoint accuracy when identifying the source of the sound.
Description
The Si124-PD also features a plugin that permits the import of acoustic images to the FLIR Thermal Studio suite for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation. Additionally, field analysis and reporting can be conducted using the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service.
By integrating the FLIR Si124-PD into a regular maintenance routine, facilities can lower their utility bills, ultimately saving money.
