**Christmas Holiday Operating Hours** Re-CAL will be closed for the festive period from Tuesday 24th December and will reopen on Thursday 2nd January 2025. Please note that any items received for calibration after 20th December cannot be guaranteed to be returned before 2nd January. Our final calibration return dispatch date will be Monday 23rd December, for items received before 20th December. Any items returned during the holiday period will be securely held with Royal Mail and delivered once we reopen on 2nd January.

Returns Policy 

Recal.biz Online Returns Policy

At Re-CAL Calibration, we are dedicated to ensuring our customers are satisfied with the service that we have provided including purchases. Our returns policy outlines the process for returning products and services, including calibration & repair purchases.

  1. Product Purchases

Eligibility:

  • You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Your item must be in the original packaging.
  • You must have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products

Process:

  • Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item.
  • We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
  • If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
  • You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

  1. Service and Calibration Purchases

Eligibility:

  • Service and calibration purchases are not subject to the 30-day return policy.
  • If the item fails calibration, we will refund the service cost minus a handling charge of £9.99 to cover incurred charges.

Process:

  • If your item fails calibration, we will notify you and process your refund minus the handling charge.
  • Refunds will be initiated to your credit card, PayPal account (or original method of payment).
  • You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer and/or PayPal policies.

  1. Exchanges
  • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@recal.biz and send your item to: Unit 28 Wheel Forge Way, Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1EH, UK.

  1. Shipping

Purchase Returns Shipping:

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of any paid purchase shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.

Service & Calibration Returns Shipping:

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item if the net value is under £45.00 VAT. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

 

Exchanges Shipping:

  • If the item is defective or damaged, we will cover the cost of return shipping for the exchanged item.

  1. International Returns
  • International orders may be returned following the same process as domestic orders, but customers will be responsible for all return shipping fees.
