The MFT1711 is a range of 3 instruments for testing low voltage electrical installations to BS7671. They provide all the tests required to complete the necessary electrical certification for industrial, commercial and domestic fixed wiring installations. They include features such as:
- Two and three-wire non-trip loop testing for fast repeatable results
- Large bright LCD display showing dual parameters – loop resistance and fault current, insulation resistance and test voltage
- Phase rotation indication for verification of rotating machinery
- 3-phase RCD testing for industrial applications with no earth
- 3-terminal earth test for electrode resistance measurement
- On-board data storage and Bluetooth® download

Megger 1711 MFT
Introducing the Megger 1711 MFT – The introductory model of the 18th Edition tester series, equipped with essential features and built to meet CAT IV standards. It offers convenient 3 and 2-wire non-trip loop testing with resistance and fault current display, along with frequency measurement. Notably, it boasts the market’s largest, brightest, and clearest display for enhanced visibility.
The latest version of the MFT1711 now includes a 1 kV insulation test range, allowing for comprehensive insulation testing. It also features Auto RCD tests, 10 mA RCD capability, programmable (VAR) RCD functionality, ZMAX measurement, and true RMS voltage measurement, further expanding its capabilities and accuracy.
