The Sonel AHV-3 voltage adapter enables the measurement of high voltage in accordance with CAT III 3000 V DC
The standard set of equipment supplied by the manufacturer includes:
The Sonel AHV-3 voltage adapter enables the measurement of high voltage in accordance with CAT III 3000 V DC when used with a compatible meter such as the Sonel CMP-1015-PV photovoltaic clampmeter or compatible Sonel CMM multimeter.
The Sonel clampmeter is dedicated to measuring AC and DC current and voltage in solar photovoltaic installations. With the addition of the Sonel AHV-3 high voltage adapter the Sonel CMP-1015-PV clampmeter can measure up to 3000VDC on solar strings. In addition to this measurement, the Sonel CMP-1015-PV can act as a datalogger and recorder with graphs. Working in direct sunlight is also possible thanks to the clampmeters high brightness display. The Sonel CMP-1015-PV clampmeter also provides precise measurements downstream of frequency converters thanks to its VFD function.
