Voltage indicators are devices built for measuring both direct and alternating voltages. Voltage indicators continuously show the present voltage via a light or precisely on a built-in LED display. Voltage indicators are used to check the voltage of mains, batteries, cables, and plug sockets.
Voltage indicators are also known as Voltmeters or Voltage testers.
Voltage Proving Units are used to prove whether your detectors and 2 pole voltage indicators are working correctly; suitable to prove High and Low Impedance devices such as multimeters and clamps.
Battery-powered Voltage Proving Units are intended to be lightweight and compact devices for ensuring safe operation when working with electricity. They serve as a verification step to safely working with high or even low voltages. They should be utilised regularly (not just with unfamiliar/new equipment) during any installation procedures.
